About
Yasmeena Mohamed is a certified arbitrator and mediator with the Ontario Ministry of Labour, serving Toronto and surrounding areas. She brings a unique perspective developed through extensive experience on both management and union sides of labour relations.
As former Vice-Chair of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (2012-2019) and the Ontario Labour Relations Board (2012-2014), Yasmeena has adjudicated hundreds of complex disputes involving human rights, occupational health and safety, employment standards, and labour relations matters.

Yasmeena is well versed in the adjudication and mediation of labour, human rights, health and safety and employment complaints under industry specific collective agreements, governed by various employment and labour statutes, including the Ontario Human Rights Code, Ontario Labour Relations Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
Beyond her practice, Yasmeena serves as a workplace investigator as well as a Law Professor at Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University, and provides mediation training for the Canadian Human Rights Commission.
